Set up the profile for the business customers can actually visit or contact. Use the real business name, choose the most accurate primary category, verify the profile and keep its location or service area truthful. A complete profile helps people understand the business; it cannot guarantee a particular ranking.
Complete the basics
Add the official name, phone, website, opening hours and special holiday hours. Choose one main category that describes the core business, then add only relevant secondary categories. Add services or products where Google offers those fields, plus recent genuine photos. For hotels, make sure the booking link reaches the correct property and dates flow clearly.
If customers visit your address, use the real staffed location and signage that match Google’s rules. If you travel to customers and do not receive them at your address, hide it and specify the service areas you genuinely cover. Do not use a virtual office or create extra profiles for the same location. Read Google’s business representation guidelines before making a borderline address decision.
Keep it current
Set a reminder to check hours, phone, links and seasonal availability. Ask customers for honest reviews without offering a reward, and reply with care without sharing private details. Google describes local ranking as a mix of relevance, distance and prominence; complete information helps relevance, but distance is not something a business can edit. See Google’s local ranking guidance.
JupiWeb lists Google Business Profile setup at €69 as an optional quote add-on. Run the profile completeness check to find missing details, then compare them with Google’s current rules.
