An SEO proposal should explain what will change on your site and why. Be cautious when a sales call focuses on secret methods, a guaranteed position or a fixed number of links without first asking what customers search for and what pages already exist.
Ask for a diagnosis before a package
Ask the agency to show one concrete issue in Search Console or on the site, describe the likely cause, and say how it will check whether the fix worked. Request a first-month task list: technical checks, page updates, content, local profile work or reporting. “SEO” can mean very different work, so compare tasks and ownership rather than monthly labels.
Ask who writes and approves Greek copy, whether edits need your approval, how the agency handles seasonal demand, and what happens to the pages and accounts if you stop. Keep your domain, Search Console and analytics under a company-controlled account. Give access at the lowest level needed.
Make measurement match the business
Agree on a baseline before work begins. Track relevant impressions and clicks, qualified calls or forms, and the value of enquiries where you can. Rankings move by location, device and query; one screenshot is not a business result. The SEO traffic value calculator can turn your own click and conversion assumptions into a planning estimate, not a forecast.
JupiWeb’s SEO launch kit is listed at €190 as a one-off quote add-on. Ask every provider, including us, what that exact scope includes and what remains ongoing. Google’s SEO starter guide explains what site owners can do themselves.
